DO THE MISSION

The School for Disciples is not just about prayer, bible study and spiritual gifts but also about giving you the opportunity to get your hands dirty in the service of others both in the communities you connect with in Nottingham and at St Nic’s and St Christopher’s.

There are rich opportunities to really get stuck into community work in Sneinton there are various voluntary organisations who do some vital work amongst the huge variety of people in the area, as well as local schools and . There will also be a chance to join in with one or two of the many social outreach projects  that are based in or resourced by members of St Nic’s and St Christopher’s such as the Jericho Road outreach to prostitutes, the Rally project which provides food and some spiritual sustenance to homeless, ‘Tea’n’Toast’ outreach to clubbers, or the Street Pastors project.

Not only that but within both churches there will be chances to be involved with children’s and youth work, student work, sung worship and our emerging missional communities (MSC’s).
