Welcome to our home page! School for Disciples is all about equipping ordinary Christians to live extraordinary lives. We’ve seen people’s lives moved on and transformed because they have chosen to take time to engage their minds, hearts, souls and bodies in what God is doing through School for Disciples. Could you be someone who wants to take on this challenge in the year to come?.

 

School for Disciples is an ‘intern year’ designed to equip people to be more effective followers of Jesus, with a particular focus on how this is worked out in the inner city of Nottingham. St Nic’s Nottingham and St Christopher’s Sneinton want to release people to be radical disciples of Jesus - The School for Disciples is a key part of seeing this vision take shape.

 

We want you to learn better how to hear the mission of Jesus through studying the Bible, receiving and using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, to do the mission of Jesus by putting into practice what you hear in the local community through service, work and intentional mission and to live the mission of Jesus by working it out day by day in your community house, at your place of work, with your neighbours and in the local church.
